Just this morning we learned of a few more events to add to the calendar!
April 16th – Flights of Fancy, Lee’s Summit, MO – MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy features dazzling mega kite displays by the Kansas City Kite Club on the picturesque lawn of the MCC-Longview campus. It is the only event of its kind in the region. Throughout Kansas City, individuals and families alike are making MCC-Longview Flights of Fancy a definite on their spring calendar. http://kitefest.mcckc.edu/
April 30th – May 1st Kite Days Terhune Orchards, Princeton, NJ, Saturday and Sunday, April 30 and May 1, are Kite Days at Terhune Orchards on Cold Soil Road in Lawrenceville. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., kids can make and decorate their own or use pre-made kites to fly in the 10-acre pasture, with the farm animals looking on. Music, games, sheep-shearing, pony and wagon rides, and lots of food are also on the schedule, along with wine-tasting and more. Admission is $5 for ages three and up.
